Wikis as Knowledge Sharing Communities

Finally wikis are getting some well deserved attention. Microsoft introduced an open source Wiki called FlexWiki a few days ago. And here is a TechWeb article on increasing use of Wikis as Knowledge Sharing Communities.

"Wikis are also described as online whiteboards, shared notebooks or group memory. They are forums for sharing knowledge and control -- and fostering trust in the process."
