RSS is changing the way information is being distributed. RSS, a short form for Really Simple Syndication, is the technology behind blogs. RSS companies like Technorati are being funded.

It allows anyone to automatically receive free feeds from countless numbers of blogs and a growing number of news services." says this article from Wired News. Blogs can be used to distribute information internally in an organization. They are being used to share knowledge (k-blogs), competitive intelligence and research information.
